Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounts Receivables Specialist 2
responsible for the timely collection of outstanding healthcare
insurance receivables.
Key Responsibilities
Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare
services
Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and secure payment from
payers
Prepare claims for clinical audit processing and write appeal
letters for technical appeals
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts
receivable follow-up
Experience with accounts receivable software and navigating payer
sites
Knowledge of medical business office procedures and third-party
payer billing practices
Experience reviewing EOB and UB-04 forms
