Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Claim Specialist to
process medical and dental claims.
Key Responsibilities
Process medical and dental claims and invoices using the QicLink
system
Analyze claims for compliance with clients' customized plans and
make determinations on payment or denial
Review and document billing irregularities and inconsistencies in
claims
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Graduate or equivalent
Minimum of two years of medical claims analysis experience
(excluding Medicare/Medicaid)
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
Continuing education in areas affecting group health and welfare
plans is required
Prior experience with a Third-party Administrator is preferred
