Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Tele Float Job
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay
period Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; First-timers must
have 3 years of experience in the field License: Valid CA license
must be in hand; No temporary licenses accepted Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Communication device provided if required
for the assignment; May need to work 3 of the 5 major holidays
(Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New
Year's Day) Job Description: - Tele Float RN expected to work with
ED Boarders - RNs must wear navy blue scrubs - Use of Epic for
charting - No call required - Weekend coverage required every other
weekend, may exceed to meet unit needs - 6 weekend shifts per
6-week schedule - Open to accommodating block schedules at the
manager---s discretion - RTO must be included at time of
submission; restrictions apply - All travelers expected to float
between all facilities within the state; refusal may result in
termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours - Orientation
consists of 40 non-billable hours - Modules: Average of 16 hours,
non-billable; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completion
recorded in Workramp transcripts
