Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Informatics Specialist to
support health IT efforts in clinical workflows and associated
information systems.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison for health IT efforts and support clinical
workflows in various settings
Analyze, design, implement, and optimize clinical technologies
across the continuum of care
Stay current with evidence-based informatics practices and provide
leadership in integrating clinical practices into technologies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
Active RN or Clinical License
Three years of clinical experience in a patient care setting
Three years of informatics or information services experience at a
large Independent Delivery Network
Informatics or Technology Certification preferred, such as CAHIMS
or CPHIMS
