• Certification Details
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification required as specified by unit.
• State License verification required.
• Fire Card must specify Los Angeles and needs to have an expiration date.
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) required for specific positions.

  • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required.
  • May float to Med-Surg.
  • Accepts 1st time travelers!
  • Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics.
  • Must be able to work in Telemetry setting.
  • Must have experience with vents, groin care, and chest tubes.
  • RTO must be on the submittal.
  • No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.
  • 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved.
  • Please Note: Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract.

    • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring
    • Required Cardiovascular skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery
    • Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
    • Required Medication skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
    • Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management

      • Every other weekend coverage required

      • NO MORE THAN 3 DAYS RTO MAX

        • Patient Population: Adolescents through Geriatrics

          • Government issued photo ID required.
          • Emergency Contact Form required prior to start.
          • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required for specialized areas: Cath Lab, ER, ICU, IR, PACU, and TELE Preferred for LVN/LPN.
          • AHA and RQI acceptable for Certifications.
